We travel to Egypt because I couldn't figure out what myth to use as flair for Greece.
The god Ra was abusing his power and hurting the people of Egypt. Isis, who cared deeply for her people, decided to put a stop to him. She created a snake out of dust and Ra's saliva and placed it on a path that Ra took every day. The snake bit him, and its poison was injected into his veins. Despite all his power, Ra was unable to cure himself as the snake was made from his own spit.
Ra called forth Isis. But Isis refused to help unless Ra told her his secret name. Ra tried to tell her a fake name, but she did not buy it. Finally, Ra told her his true name. Thus giving Isis equal power to Ra. Ra would no longer subject the people to his tyranny!
For this challenge, we will be playing the game password. Here's how it works.
Each player involved in the challenge has been given 2 words in their confessional. Your job is to get your teammates to guess those words. Each word is numbered. Both tribes have the same words.
To do this, you post hints. Following the following rules...
1. You may post hints for both of your words at once, or just one.
2. You may not use any of the words you have as hints.
3. You may not use any words containing said word or a different conjugation of the word (eg: Shook - Shake / Quake - Earthquake)
4. Hyphenated words are not allowed.
5. Before giving the next hint for a word, a guess must be attempted by a member of your team.
6. Multiple guesses cannot be made for each hint.
7. You may only use hints to help your team get your word.
8. You may not privately discuss this challenge with anyone.
9. Any failure to follow rules on a word will lead to that word not being counted as guessed.
10. A maximum of 8 hints/guesses is allowed for each word.
11. HINTS MUST BE ONE WORD
You may post your hints whenever. The order you go in doesn't matter, and multiple team members can have hints out at once. Any player not sitting out can guess for other players.
Team members may discuss any hints that they did not give in thread. Bold any official guesses. If you think it's something but don't submit it as a guess it won't count!
The team that gets the most words correct wins! In the event of a tie (its possible), the team that uses the least hints total for all the words wins.
Gameplay Example:
Player A: 1 - Sock ; 2 - Frog
Player B: 3 - Disco ; 4 - Planet
Player A: Hmm... what do you think planet is
Player C: I think it's Earth. And Disco is probably dance.
Player A: Guess for 4: Earth, Guess for 3: Dance
Mod (or Player B): 4 is right, 3 is not.
Player B: 3 - Lights
etc...
I will try to help keep track of where words are at.
You have until 2 PM EST on Monday, July 15th. The extra time is partially as this requires teamwork and partially as my schedule is mostly late shifts this week.
