Aha! A new test. Let us begin. The format will be as follows. [Piece name] [clockwise, starting at top, whether each side is convex or concave] [whether the piece is an edge, corner, or neither] [brief description of piece]. I shall write this information in a separate post, which I will begin typing now.

4a; concave, convex, convex, convex; no edges; the right side of the lion's nose, as well of most of the right cheek. This almost certainly goes directly under 4d. 4b; edge, concave, convex, concave; on the upper edge; almost entirely dull blue, which I can only assume is the sky. The bottom convex bit has a small blackish shape on its right. 4c; edge, concave, concave, convex; on the upper edge; most prominently taken up by a round, tan shape. More of the right slope can be seen than the left. The left slope connects to the piece to the left of it a little above the convex connector. below the concave part on the right, there is a very small, nearly unseen black shape that does not reach the bottom. 4d; convex, concave, convex, convex; no edges; contains the lion's eye. As established, almost certainly goes above 4a. The top left corner of the piece's shape itself is very acute. 4e; concave, concave, convex, convex; no edges; contains the snout of a zebra. Top right has the classic zebra stripes pattern, while the middle is the black snout and the bottom is grass. 4f; concave, convex, convex, concave; no edges; contains a pink flamingo's beak and head, facing to the right. The background of the piece looks furry and suspiciously lion-colored. Halfway point, checkpoint reached. I'd like to take this moment to remind you that the order of the convex/concave listing is top, right, bottom, left, and that concave is the opening and convex is the pointy one that isn't an opening. Second half on the way.

4g; convex, convex, convex, convex; no edges; the backside and part of a tail of the zebra. Has a white background; I haven't a clue what it is. The slope of its backside is on the left half. Also, there is a brown shape in the left convex bit, extending to the piece to the left of this. 4H; convex, convex, edge, concave; bottom edge; some foliage on the jungle's floor. A blue leaf on top of a dull yellow leaf. I feel that the bottom layer may be the most difficult. 4i; convex, convex, edge, concave; bottom edge; a pink petal above and behind a yellow leaf, with grass covering part of the pink. Only a little of each extends into the piece to the left of it, and the pink extends into the above piece. To the right of this plant life, and in the piece to the right of this, is a black background(? It could be an object, but I don't believe so). 4j; convex, convex, convex, convex; no edges; some grass on top, with I believe the top of the lion's mane on the bottom. Possibly the piece to the diagonal top left of 4d? 4k; concave, convex, concave, concave; no edges; almost entirely composed of the zebra's striped pelt, with some blue on the right extending to the next piece. Only a small sliver of grass is visible, on the top right. 4L; concave, concave, convex, convex; no edges; I believe this to be the beak of a silver bird, facing right, with a little of its body visible on the bottom left. The background is mostly tan, with some dark green.

5a) Corner Piece. Appears to be an ear of some kind. Concave on bottom, convex on right. 5b) edge piece. Convex on right side, concave on top and left, straight on bottom. Looks like metal claws across a body? 5c) edge piece. Concave on top, convex on left side and bottom. Right side straight. Looks like a beard. 5d) middle piece. Convex on left side, concave on the other 3 sides. lots of pink on the bottom and zebra stripes on top. 5e) edge piece. Straight on top, convex on left side and bottom, concave on right side. Looks like a very light blue sky. 5g) middle piece. concave on all 4 sides. looks like part of a body with some wings? 5f) edge piece. straight on left side. concave on top, convex on bottom and right side. Clearly a baby tiger 5h) corner piece. left and bottom straight, concave on top and right. Appears to be a part of the baby tiger/ leopard. If rotated 180 degrees, it might fit with 5f. 5i) corner piece. right and bottom straight, concave left and top. Has some very skin like colors, but a lot yellower. NO idea what it is. 5j) Middle piece. Convex on bottom, concave on left right and top. Lots of leaves 5k) edge piece. straight on top, concave on left right and bottom. Leaves and a sky looking background. 5l) middle piece. Concave left and right, convex top and bottom. Almost looks like I'm looking at some trees.
Unfortunately I won't be of much more help, as I am busy the next 15 hours. I will try to come on and help as best I can closer to the end.

3A) Bottom convex, rest concave. The left eye of a lion. 3B) Bottom edge, rest concave. The mouth of a toucan with pink background. Pretty sure it is supposed to be on the left side of 3E and below 3H. 3C) Bottom edge, left concave, rest convex. Leaves mostly with slight pink at the top left part. Pretty sure it is supposed to be at the right of 3E. 3D) Left convex, rest concave. Right side is leaves. The left side is either the neck of a giraffe or a part of cheetah. Pretty sure it is supposed to be at the bottom of 3K. 3E) Bottom edge, rest convex. Bottom has green. Top has pink background. Left side has the beak of a toucan. Pretty sure it is supposed to be at the right of 3B and at the left of 3E. 3F) Left convex rest concave.Brown, likely the fur of some animal, with a bluish blackish line going through the middle. Pretty sure it is supposed to be on top of 3J.
I will send part 2 a bit later. And part 3 will contain the puzzle pieces in my set that I've found to be adjacent to eachother.

3G) Bottom edge, right convex, rest concave. Topleft is blue... possibly water. Middle has a line of green that is likely grass. The rest is brownish which I don't think is part of any animal. 3H) Right concave, rest convex. Top part has the stripes of a zebra. Bottom part has pink background. The bottom convex bud has the eye of a toucan. Goes above 3B. 3I) Top edge, rest convex. Top is sky and the bottom has two leaves. 3J) Bottom and left concave, rest convex. Brown. Likely some animal's fur. Top convex bud has a bluish part that makes me think it goes below 3F. 3K) Left concave, rest convex. Bottom right is green. The rest are parts of a giraffe. The right convex bud is bluish white in color, different from the rest of the piece. Pretty sure it goes above 3D. 3L) Top concave, rest convex. Entirely light brown, with the same bluish blackish line as 3F beginning from the left convex bud and going diagonally towards the bottom convex bud. The right convex bud is entirely orange in color, different from the rest of the piece.

I just realised 1G is a part of a zebra's ear. So 1A, 1G and 1I have to be close to each other.

Could you mention the connecting pieces as well Amaterasu? Whether the sides are concave or convex.

Corners: 5a (top left), 5i (bottom right), 1b (top right), 5h (bottom left)
Bottom edges: 4H, 4i, 2b, 2H, 5b, 3b, 3c, 3e, 1k
Top edges: 4b, 4c, 2a, 2d, 2k, 5e, 5k, 3i, 1e, 1g
Left edges: 2j, 5f, 1L
Right edges: 2L, 5c, 1j
Can someone double check this? I think we have too many bottom and top edges listed- there ought to be 8 of each, plus corners. Left and right seem fine, though.

Pele transposed his 5f and 5g. We can ask them about that when they get back. Right now I'm drawing them all out just so I can get a better sense of them. (Not going to post it, of course)

I believe 4H is directly to the left of 3G, which means that directly to the right of the bottom left corner is 2h or 1k.

|
|
Post by Hecate on Jul 4, 2019 19:16:02 GMT
Actually, it has to be 1k, then 2h right after that. That's the only thing that fits.

|

Post by Hecate on Jul 4, 2019 19:41:33 GMT
Seems like 2k goes right beside the top right corner.
