We return to Greece for our last challenge.
Heracles, the most legendary hero of Greek legend, achieved immortality through completing a series of near impossible tasks.
Heracles was the son of Zeus and a mortal woman. Zeus' wife Hera hated him and wished him dead. She cursed him with a madness which caused Heracles to kill his wife and sons. In order to atone for this, he was told to complete many difficult tasks.
Heracles completed 12 tasks for King Eurystheus, including
-Fighting the Nemean lion, who was impervious to weapons. Heracles strangled it bare handed.
-Killing the Hydra, a 9 headed monster which grew 2 new heads when one was cut off. Heracles cut off the heads and burned them with a torch.
-Cleaning the stables of Augeius by diverting two rivers
-Capturing Cerberus, the guardian of the Underworld. Hades allowed Heracles to complete this task.
After his death, Heracles was rewarded with immortal life among the gods.
Like Heracles, the winner of this challenge will have a chance to achieve immortality! One of the other three will be sent to Valhalla.
You will have 30 minutes to complete this challenge. A google form has been posted below containing a password. Submit the form to start your time, and get a password to your private subforum. Each player has access to a different subforum so there is no need to worry about having the same password.
When your time starts, you will be given the password to the subforum which you should see in the challenge forum. (Tell me if you don't see it) In this subforum there are 12 tasks, each in a separate thread. Your goal is to complete as many tasks as you can in 30 minutes. You may go in any order. You may submit multiple solutions to tasks; the last one you submit will be what is judged. Post all answers to tasks in the task thread itself.
The player who completes the most tasks successfully will win immunity. In the event of a tie, the player who completed their last task with the most time left will win.
Good luck! This is the final challenge.
Note: It is suggested that you look at all tasks before deciding what order to complete them in. Tasks 1 and 4 will involve timing...
