Probably. But, this is a decent advantage depending on the circumstance

oh - 100%. I'd go so far as to say it's kinda OP. But I'm glad its in our circle. Definitely would prefer we have it than someone else
Also - trojan horse == fake idol likely?

Could be! Interesting i wonder how that would work

I would guess someone can designate who to drop an advantage towards with some sort of note written by whoever won it to come up with some plausible explanation as to why they received it, and then it just wouldn't work when used

Yes, I got the Pandora’s Box. I can only use it at Tribal Council, what it does is makes me lose a vote and also makes me have to speak in some weird language the whole council and if I don’t then it makes me self vote twice. If I survive the Tribal Council, I get an extra vote that can be used until final 6. I can also pass the box but the receiver who gets it doesn’t know what it does.

wait. so you can force someone who doesn't know what the box does into self voting twice essentially? or do they know the language requirement?
because... damn there's some solid hinky vote strategies that are coming up with this depending on how it works

hell, if you used it here given the 5-fer alliance and trusting chronos getting osiris's vote on someone else, you could do it now, and claim someone must have had a vote nullifier

wouldn't suggest it but its an option

There's still hinky vote strats if you play it earlier, and are willing to take the risk of two self votes

It went just as I had hoped. I was worried because some people weren't talking to me but I must have just been paranoid.

I think Loki and I have our bases covered with anyone who might flip on us over here - except maybe Dionysus and maybe Izanami
Loki would you agree with that?

I agree. You said that you didn’t trust Chronos either, are you worried about him at all?

I agree. You said that you didn’t trust Chronos either, are you worried about him at all? I believe he trusts me, and I don't think a ton of people trust him. I'd be more worried if people trusted him enough to allow him to be able to turn the tables on us without us finding out. Currently I don't see that happening. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

I think the only blind spot outside of the alliance in the Titans is Dio, and internally it would be Izanami. Other than that, I think bases are covered between us two. Would you agree Loki? Pele? You feel safe? Or do we need to send Pandora's Box to someone over there (if we agree that is a viable solution obvs)

ok - and - i would like to discuss this with you two - mainly because I think we have a very solid chance of doing well together. Do we think Pandora's box is better as a means to obtain an extra vote? Or, is it better to kill a vote for the person you want to get out by giving it to them in the hopes they open it?

|
Post by Pele on Jul 13, 2019 0:07:25 GMT
I feel like it's better to use it to gain an extra vote, as I don't feel someone would risk not following the rules of pandora's box if they know the consequences.

that's the point. you give it to them - they know nothing about it if I understand Loki correctly

Just looked up what you have to speak in when opening it. You have to speak in haikus which I tried and is incredibly difficult to pull off unless you just don’t speak at all, but I still think it’s better off getting the extra vote since we get more control on when it’s used.
