You know how in a jig saw piece there'll be a bit sticking out and a bit going in? I'll call the bit sticking out a "node" and the bit going in an "anti node"
1A - Part of a zebra's body. Node to the top, right, and bottom. Antinode to the left. 1B - TOP RIGHT CORNER PIECE. Looks like the right ear of an elephant. Node to the bottom. Anti node to the left. 1C - Neck of a flamingo. Node to the left, anti node to the rest. 1D - Left eye of an elephant. Node to the left, anti node to the rest. 1E - TOP EDGE PIECE. Right eye of an antelope. Node to the left. Anti node to the bottom and to the right. 1F - Neck/Face of a blue parrot. Node to the right, left, and bottom. Antinode to the top.
1G - TOP EDGE PIECE. Node to left, right, and bottom. 1H - Mouth of a lion. Node to bottom and left. Antinode to top and right 1I - Neck and right eye of a zebra. Antinode all round. 1J - RIGHT EDGE PIECE. Part of an elephant. Node to left and bottom. Antinode to top. 1K - BOTTOM EDGE PIECE. Some sort of small fruit? A bit of grass? Node to top and left. Antinode to right. 1L - LEFT EDGE PIECE. Part of leopard + some leaves. Node to bottom. Antinode to top and right

5A - Top left ear of what more than likely is a giraffe. This piece is 100% top left as it's smooth on the top and left side of the piece with a node on the right and anti node on the bottom. 5B - This one is really hard to describe. It looks like it could be a tree with a scratch on it or some sort of white animal that is NOT a zebra. It's smooth on the bottom. It has a node on the right and anti nodes on the top and left. 5C - It's grey, so I'm going to say this is likely an elephant if it's an animal. or potentially a cave. It's smooth on the right side, and has an anti node on the top, while having nodes on the left and bottom. 5D - It's a body mix up with a flamingo, the white animal that is with 5B and a zebra. It has anti nodes on the top, right and bottom, while having a node on the left side of the piece. 5E - Part of the sky with a little bit of a tree leaf on the bottom right of the piece. It's smooth on the top, with nodes on the left and bottom of the piece, while having an anti node on the right. 5F - Most of a face of a cheetah with his it's mouth and nose. It is smooth on the left with an anti node on the top of the piece, while having nodes on the right and bottom. 5G - Appears to be fur of an animal or two? One is tan colour like a lion and the other fur colour is white. It has an anti node all over the piece. 5H - Bottom of the cheetah emerging from the bush it might be hiding in if it is a bush there. Bottom left piece for definite as it has a smooth left and bottom side of the piece, while having anti nodes on the top and right of the piece. 5I - Not going to lie, but I have no idea what the heck this is. However, this piece belong bottom right without a doubt as it's smooth on the right and bottom sides, while having anti nodes on the top and left of the piece. I have a suspicion 5I and 5C combine together as the I can see that the shape fit together as the happen to be on top and bottom of each other. 5J - I have no idea what this is, but it looks like some leaves and something that is blue with a bit of white to it. It has anti nodes on the top, left, and right of the piece, while the bottom has a node. 5K - Looks like the top of the tree. Smooth on the top of the piece with anti nodes everywhere else. 5L - Likely to be an elephant trunk or part of it's body. It has nodes on the top and bottom of the piece while it has two anti nodes on the left and right side. This could be a tusk, but it's really hard to tell.

I feel like the white is part of the parrot ive found. It's a cockatoo more than likely if this is jungle/safari themed. So the weird scratches on the tree which I think are scratches could be the tail feathers?

3A - The top left side of the head of a lion, centred by its left eye. Nodes: bottom Anti-nodes: Top, left, and right.
3B - Contains the head and half of the beak of a toucan in a pink background. The eye is missing. Node: none Antinodes: left, top, and right BOTTOM EDGE PIECE
3C - A large leaf with what looks like the background of a lion's fur. The top right part has pink in it (a flamingo, perhaps) Node: right, top Anti-node : left BOTTOM EDGE PIECE
3D - It is divided in half (vertically), with the right side containing a part of a leaf similar to 3C, and the left side has a leopard pattern. Node: left Anti-node: top, right, bottom
3E - contains the rest of the toucan's beak on the right side. It has a part of what looks like a flamingo's body with a wing on the top left corner (the body curves upwards) The bottom right corner contains a part of a leaf. Node: left, top, and right. Antinodes: none BOTTOM EDGE PIECE
3F - Looks like a part of an elephant's body, with a tusk at the middle. The bottom right corner has what looks like the hair of a lion. Node: left Anti-node: top, right, bottom
3G - I have no idea what's going on here. Looks like a group of light brown rocks, with something white and semi circular at the top right side (the right node is completely white). The top left side has some grass and what looks like water (a part of a river maybe?). Node: right Anti-node: top and left BOTTOM EDGE PIECE
3H - It's divided in half (horizontally), with the top part containing a zebra pattern, and the bottom half has part of the body of a flamingo (curving upwards at the top). The bottom node has the missing eye of the toucan. Node: left, top, and bottom Anti-node: right
3I - The top half is filled with blue sky, and the bottom half has two cropped leaves Node - Left, right, bottom Anti-nodes - None. TOP EDGE PIECE
3J - It's divided vertically, with the right side having the skin of an elephant, and the left side having the fur of a lion. The top node contains the sharp end of a tusk. Node: top and right Anti-node: Left and bottom
3K - The left side has a leopard pattern, with the top left corner having the bottom right corner of the head of a leopard. The middle has what looks like the skin of a giraffe, and the bottom part contains a part of a leaf. The right node is mostly white. Node: Top, right, bottom Anti-node: left
3L - It has the left side of a small bird with a black head and an orange body on the right side of the piece. It has a yellowish gray background (not an elephant) with what looks like a blade of grass coming from the center left side (it has the same color and shape of a tusk, but I'm not quite sure) Node: Left, right, bottom Anti-node: top
From my observations, I can deduce: ? ?? ?? ?? ?? ? 3H ?? ?? ?? ? 3B 3E 3C ?? -----(bottom edge)-----
? ?? ?? ? 3K ?? ? 3D ?? ? ?? ??
? ?? ?? ? 3F ?? ? 3J ?? ? ?? ??

Im iffy about the top because I feel like 4C should be where 3I is (because elephant ear) but it wouldnt fit with 1B

We need the final pieces to help us to actually determine that. But I feel like Osiris is right with his deduction.

If it has a smooth top and right, then it should not be wrong. By this, you're saying that someone might have described their pieces wrong. The ones I told you without a doubt are correct though with the bottom right, bottom left and top left corners. It would make no sense otherwise to have no nodes or anti nodes if they were incorrect.
Again, we need the final pieces ASAP in order to try and figure this out. Otherwise, we may need just to put the ones we know about in the places we think are correct and risk guessing which pieces go where with theirs as we are running low on time right now. As well as the ones I know about with the corners, I know another two pieces I have fit together without a doubt as not only it fits the nodes, it also fits the weird shape that was left as well when the puzzle was cut.
Look at the curves at your pieces and see whether they may match up with any others of yours.

2A - Top edge piece - Looks to be the head of a giraffe? There is an eye in here. 3 anti-nodes on all sides.
2B - bottom edge piece - leaves, treefrog in middle. antinode on the top and left, node on the right.
2C - middle piece - blue, with pink on the right and the top of a zebra on the bottom. antinodes at the top and left, nodes on the bottom and right.
2D - top edge piece - sky, with some leaves. looks to be with a little grey bit at the bottom? antinode on the right, nodes on the bottom and left.
2E - middle piece - covered almost entirely in zebra stripes. antinode to the left and top, node to the bottom and right.
2F - middle piece - more zebra with some leaves at the bottom. antinote to the top, right and bottom. node to the left.
2G - middle piece - sky, with the cut off face of a blue macaw on it. node to the left, antinode to the top, middle and right.
2H - bottom edge piece - a lot of green leaves, with some brown leaves? a little pink at the right. Node on the left and right, antinode on the top.
2L - middle piece - looks to be the bottom half a giraffe face and giraffe neck. a cut off part of the jaguars face on it. (very sure this is to the right of 2J, my next piece.) antinode on the left, bottom and right. node on the top.
2J - Left edge piece - two leaves and sky in the middle, and the top half of the jaguars face cut off. nodes on the top, right and bottom.
2K - Top edge piece - looks to be two cut off boulders and some leaves on the left. nodes on the left, bottom and middle.
2L - right edge piece - looks to be the cut off body of a blue bird, on some boulders. antinode to the top and left, node to the bottom.

Does anyone have the reformatted board with the pieces, or are we needing to deal with that as well?
I have a feeling I can complete the top left corner, but do not know where to start...
